Dietary supplements and cancer – alphabetical

Below are selected supplements that, in their own ways, may have a beneficial effect as complementary cancer treatment.

Important

Be aware of the risk of interaction. When you take both medicine and supplements, or several different supplements, these can affect each other. This means that the effect of your medicine can become either stronger or weaker, or entirely different effects may arise that are not necessarily desired for your cancer treatment.

This applies to supplements, medication, and other cancer treatments—not least in combination with chemotherapy. If in doubt, seek competent guidance.
