Background to the creation of this information site

Now Denmark’s most comprehensive site on integrative, complementary and alternative cancer treatment
Due to a lack of knowledge about the countless treatment options available, I lost my mother to cancer in 2000.
This, together with my own cancer diagnosis and my professional background as a nurse, is the reason for creating this information site. With more than 800 topics (January 2026), I use the analytical systematic approach I acquired as a Cand.arch. to provide sources for the information. Virtually all topics are supported by links to scientific articles describing the underlying mechanisms and findings, to ensure transparency and professional credibility.
Min mission med sitet er at bringe overblik, sikkerhed og videnskabelig systematik ind i et felt, der ellers kan være uoverskueligt.
At the same time, I must emphasise that I am not a doctor, and this review should be regarded solely as informational and in no way as any form of recommendation of treatments, medicines, dietary supplements, manufacturers, retailers, or anything else.
Illustrations for the individual articles should be regarded as vignettes. These are partly my own photos, partly free photos sourced from Pixabay, and partly created using artificial intelligence, Google Gemini.
