acid that is naturally found in the body in small amounts. It is formed in the liver by conjugation of ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) with the amino acid taurine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Traditionally, TUDCA has been used to treat liver diseases. And for good reason, as TUDCA has remarkable liver-protective properties. It thus plays a crucial role in maintaining liver health and function, especially for people undergoing cancer treatment, this can be significant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to protecting the liver, newer research has also pointed to potential benefits of TUDCA in connection with cancer treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"TUDCAs_liver-protective_properties\"><\/span>TUDCA&#8217;s liver-protective properties<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1.
